Use it as part of a heavy bag workout. 2 minutes on the heavy bag, then 2 minutes of jumping rope. I do this for 30 minutes after lifting, or a run.

I remember how awkward it was to jump rope at first, but next thing you know its like you've been doing it all your life. Great workout and its a nice way to get your cardio in without the monotony.

15 minutes of jumping rope would take me all day. If you can jump rope for more than 3 or 4 minutes at a time, you are in great shape.

One of the most difficult things I have ever attempted. I can easily do 40 minutes on the elyptical but can barely manage one minute jumping rope.

There's a guy at the gym who does 5 minutes or maybe more at a time. He makes it look so easy.

I read once that 10 minutes of jump rope is like a half hour of running. Great workout, I can barely do it myself.
